This is a simple set of instructions on how to comment on existing posts and questions, creating a new post or asking a new question.

  1. Leaving a comment for a post or question is as simple as clicking on the the “comment” link at the bottom of the post or question. You do not need to register to leave a comment, although you will be asked for a name, email and any web site URL that you are associated with. The later is optional. I would suggest using a first name or “pen” name to comment with. Also, I don’t suggest you use your everyday personal email address. Although we will never give out your email address it is impossible to guarantee that this site would never be hacked for the sake of obtaining email addresses. The best way to deal with spam is to setup a second email account and use it anytime you are asked for an email address. You can get a free email account at Yahoo!, Google, AOL, Hotmail, etc. You may be asking why am I required to give an email address? It provides accountability and makes it harder for spammers to leave what is referred to as “comment spam”.
  2. If you would like to post or ask a question you will need to register with this site and login with the user name you have chosen to use. It is important that you use a real email address because you will be a sent a password for your account to it. You can change the password later if you like. If you are new to using a blog, please read the this introduction to blogging.

Thank you and have fun! Jeff
